How will I be notified?
You will receive an email from Solartrip to notify you that your flight has been delayed, rescheduled or cancelled.
If your flight is rescheduled or cancelled, we will display the alternative options provided to us by the airline. Your booking status will change to “Unconfirmed.” If you are happy to accept the changes, please follow the link in the email. Alternatively, you can contact Customer Support to let us know.
What if I don't want to accept the changes?
If you don’t want to accept the changes, you can submit an involuntary refund request. We’ll send a full refund request to the airline and will process the refund once it’s been approved by the airline.
You can also submit an involuntary refund request in the following situations, provided that you present corresponding supporting documents:
- Visa refusal / rejection
- Ilness or death of a passenger or passenger's relatives.
If your flight was delayed or cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, or technical problems with the aircraft, please request a flight delay or cancellation confirmation from the airline and share this with our Customer Support Team.
This is always subject to authorisation by the airline and depends on their policies. A full refund always needs to be approved by the airline.
As an agency, Solartrip can only submit an involuntary refund request to the airline. Unfortunately, we’re not able to influence or accelerate the decision process of the airline.
