You can request an involuntary refund, if you have the necessary supporting documents, in the following cases:
- Visa denial
- No-show due to illness or death of a passenger or immediate family member
This is always subject to authorisation by the airline and depends on their policies. Some airlines don’t consider visa denial or medical issues as an involuntary request. A full refund always needs to be approved by the airline.
You must cancel your tickets before your flight check-in has closed. You will not be able to submit an involuntary refund request after this. You will need to contact the airline directly, or our Customer Support, to cancel your booking.
NOTE: Any applied discounts will not be refunded.
As an agency, Solartrip can only submit an involuntary refund request to the airline. Unfortunately, we’re not able to influence or accelerate the decision process of the airline.
To help you request an involuntary refund, see our "How do I request a refund for my flight?" article here.
